1. How do I book a session?

        Booking a session is easy! To get started you can fill out the "Contact Me" form (no purchase necessary) or you can call      

        586.260.9658 to discuss your custom portrait session. The form will automatically be e-mailed to me, and then I will call you so we   

        can go over all the details. In this consultation we will get to know each other better. You will learn what you can expect from me and 

        I will ask questions to help understand what you want in a session so that I design the perfect shoot for you. Also, I can answer any

        questions you might have that were not answered here. If you want to experience a photo shoot, you'll pay the session fee and book

        a reservation. Upon booking, I'll go deeper into the details of the process and timeline, I'll show you the products I offer and what you

        can expect to spend and we will discuss wardrobe, and how much fun you will have! The pre-shoot consultation is one of the most

        important steps since I carefully plan and design your custom session from this meeting.

  2. What should I expect to spend with you?

        The fee for your session is $259 which also comes with a $250 print credit that can be used towards the purchase of your beautiful 

        portraits and personal branding in printed and matted images in collections, special edition collections, ready-to-hang wall art or

        individual images. (See separate pricing for headshots). You only buy what you love and how much you spend is entirely up to

        you! My Label Collections start at $900, Special Edition Collections start at $185, Fine Art wall print images start at $150 and

        canvas at $275 (frame not included). For more information on products click here. You will receive a 20% discount if you order more

        than one enlargement on the day of your in-person reveal and ordering session. The session fee reserves your booked session is

        non-refundable. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, we allow a one-time rescheduling as long as you reschedule with me

        in person or over the phone with a minimum of 24 hour’s notice and your session fee and retainer will carry over to your rescheduled

        session!

   3. What does the session fee include?

        Your $150 session fee includes an in-person consultation to prepare for the shoot; a wardrobe consultation; photographer’s time and

        talent; planning and preparation for your shoot; the actual shoot; up to 4 wardrobe changes during the shoot; standard professional

        editing and retouching of your images; an in-person portrait reveal and ordering session; AND a $250 print credit you can use

        towards the purchase of your folio collections, ready-to-hang framed wall art, or individual images! The session fee is non-

        refundable, so if you need to take advantage of our one-time reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so you

        can carry it over for your rescheduled session.

  4. How long will it take to get my photos? Do you have an online gallery?

        My average turn-around is approximately 3 weeks after your photo session. At that time, we will schedule a personalized in-person

        photo reveal and ordering session where you will choose your favorite images. At that time you will be able to take your purchased

        collections home with you that same day! For any special orders, customized pieces, finished enlargements and/or framed wall art,

        the turn-around time will be anywhere from 3-6 weeks after your ordering session depending on what you purchase. I do not have   

        an online gallery because I want to give my clients the full customer experience and I feel the in-person reveal and sales session is

        the only way to show your beautiful images. You will only buy what you absolutely love!

  5. Can I just get the digitals?

        All of my images are developed in professional labs using beautiful archival papers. The Collections are gorgeous with leather*  

        boxes with creamy mats that are custom-ordered from Italy. You will love displaying your images in the beautiful folio

        box or as enlargements for stunning fine wall art. Included with your order, you will receive complimentary full-resolution

        digital images for EVERY image you purchase! For each of your gorgeous images that you have printed, you will receive the same

  6. Where is your studio? How do we take photos? 

        Currently my studio is located in my newly renovated basement that has an inviting fireplace in which to relax and view your beautiful

        images during your in-person reveal session. It also has a full bathroom for clothing changes and a fully stocked kitchen that will

        have beverages and snacks during your photo session. Occasionally, I will do on-location shoots, so if you have an amazing location

        where you want to have your session or want something different than a studio, then we can discuss a custom session designed just

        for you.

  7. What should I wear?

        Depending on the session, it usually includes 3-4 wardrobe changes. For portraits, a beautiful gown or casual wear; for headshots

        or personal branding typically a business look is warranted but it all depends on the type of industry you are in; for boudoir, sensual

        or romantic clothing that implies romance! Choose outfits that you love wearing, because it helps if you love how you look too! As

        part of our consultation, we will discuss clothing options for you and your body type. It may take time for you to rent/order the right 

        outfits so please plan ahead.

  8. Why should I do a photo shoot, I don't look like all these beautiful women?

        Most of my clients are not models and every woman that has stepped in front of my camera has felt a little unsure and nervous. A

        part of my job is to provide instruction on how to stand, how to sit, how to smile and how not to smile. In every session I see a 

        transformation in everyone I photograph. My client starts out unsure and by the time the session ends, I see confidence in the way

        my client looks and walks. They feel their own beauty, strength, value and for many they accomplished something new. It's a 

        transformative experience for them and for me. It brings joy to me in that what I do can bring a positive change to my clients at the

        end of the shoot and that's why I strive to give you such a special customer experience. There is something uplifting about having

        your portraits taken. Also, I have been on the other side of the lens, and have felt the same nervousness about how I will look, but it

        is exhilarating to feel and look amazing and more important to see my own confidence in portraits. I have trained to pose all shapes,

        sizes, and age groups. So step out and proclaim your value, strength and God's beautiful design and masterpiece that is you and

        show it to your family and friends through stunning portraits. You will love the experience and your images!

  9. When are you open?      

        All sessions are by appointment only.

 10. How much editing do you do? 

         I edit to bring out your natural beauty and features and if there is anything in particular that concerns you, please let me know

         during our consultation and the shoot so I can take that into consideration when posing you.

 

 11. Will you use my images on your website or social media? 

         For marketing purposes I show beautiful photos of my clients on my website and social media. My hope is that you will want to

         share them as well. My images are what brought you to me and most are meant to be seen, but you may want to reserve a few

         images just for yourself and those I will not show the public. We can discuss these details during your consultation and your in-

         person viewing and ordering session. At the time you book your session, you will be asked to sign a Model Release Form.

 12. What types of genres do you photograph?

         I mainly photograph contemporary portraits of women, men, teens and children. You don’t need to wait to celebrate, but if you

         have a birthday, or a milestone, or just want polished and professional photographs, I would love to create timeless portraits for

         you.

​

         For individuals who need professional photos for their career or business I have sessions for headshots and personal branding.

         Investing in professional images provides a visual representation of you at your best, in a relaxed, but professional environment

         whether onsite or in the studio. They start the ball rolling for all your marketing needs.

​

         I also offer boudoir sessions. My style is to create elegance and a romantic vibe in the images, and to make you feel beautiful. It

         is empowering for women to embrace their body and this is a beautiful way to show it in a portrait. For social media concerns see

         I do not photograph newborns. This is a specialized genre with so many safety concerns in handling newborns that I leave this  

         area up to the experts.

         I love to photograph men too! I offer photo shoots for headshots, personal branding and portraits. The session fee and product
